This is not you regular green bean recipe. My mushroom soup I make from scratch. Because we keep it preservative free so our holiday are sicky free.
4 cups of frozen green beans thawed
fried onion topping.
On medium heat. place butter mushrooms and onions in sauce pan. once butter is melted add garlic and flour. Stir until crumbly. Add chicken stock base. Add milk slowly while stirring so you don’t get lumps. Add salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Place green beans in sauce pan and stir. Place everything in a baking dish, I like a square dish. bake in the oven uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes at 350. Top with fried onions, place back in oven for a few minutes so that onions get brown. Serve this is a huge hit and no left over will be in site.
