Blackberry Cookies

1/2 cup salted organic butter softened
1 cup frozen organic Blackberries
1 cup sugar
1 egg 
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 Tsp pure vanilla
2 tbsp baking soda
2 cups organic unbleached flour
Directions:  cream butter, sugar and egg.  Warm blackberries them puree them.  once they are thoroughly pureed run through a strainer into creamed mixture.  Add lemon juice, vanilla, baking soda and flour a 1/2 cup at a time mixing well. This dough can be chilled to use for shaped cookies or can be directly rolled into balls and placed on a greased baking sheet.  Bake at 375 degrees 10 to 12 minutes or until edges of cookies are lightly browned.
